Children of Lir
Magically transformed into four white swans by an evil queen, the children of the ancient Irish King Lir, were banished to spend 300 years on Lake Derravaragh, 300 years on the Sea of Moyle and 300 years on Inis Glora. Left with only their beautiful human voices, people came from all over the land to hear the legendary singing of the swans.
This haunting Celtic myth is an intrinsic part of our folklore and has been a powerful inspiration to us in the transformation of gold and silver into the beautiful contemporary pieces found in our award-winning Children of Lir collection. Available in gold and silver, these fifteen pieces are distinctive, highly wearable and timeless in their appeal.
Each piece will be presented in its own unique Children of Lir box and will include a card explaining the legend which has inspired the jewellery.
